Daniel Sifael

Biography

Daniel Sifael is a PhD Researcher under the “Mageuzi ya Maarifa” Research Project, where his research focuses on the integration of digital citizen science technologies with non-Western knowledge systems for a transformative resource monitoring in Tanzania. He also serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environment Studies at the University of Dodoma. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems and a Bachelor of Geography and Environmental Studies. He has worked in projects related to Natural Resources Monitoring, GIS and Remote sensing applications, and climate change, particularly Quantifications of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the livestock sector.
