Biography

I’m a Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS). I work on the sociology and politics of green agendas, including climate change adaptation and mitigation, forest- and wildlife conservation, and nature restoration. I’m particularly interested in local agency and knowledge production, everyday governance practices, and institutional change. I enjoy working in collaborative projects with strong field-based components. As a DIIS researcher I do both in-depth academic research and more policy-oriented studies. Apart from MAARIFA, current and recent work includes research with colleagues in Kenya and Zambia on nature-based solutions and climate change adaptation.
