Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS). Works on the sociology and politics of green agendas, including climate change adaptation and mitigation, forest- and wildlife conservation, and nature restoration. Particularly interested in local agency and knowledge production, everyday governance practices, and institutional change. Enjoys working in collaborative projects with strong field-based components. Apart from MAARIFA, current and recent work includes research with colleagues in Kenya and Zambia on nature-based solutions and climate change adaptation.
